Schedule an Appointment

You can schedule an appointment with an advisor through Spartan Connect.

Use the Spartan Connect Student Self-Service Appointment Scheduling Guide to schedule an appointment. 

If you have exceeded the number of no-shows permitted to schedule an appointment, are no longer a student, or are having technical difficulties accessing Spartan Connect, email our general inbox science-advisingcenter@sjsu.edu or call our Front Office (408) 924-5193 for assistance.

Spartan Connect Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your appointment one hour or less before your scheduled appointment with an advisor, you will be marked as a “no-show”.

If you have three or more no-shows within the last 120 days. You cannot schedule appointments in Spartan Connect on your own.

It is your responsibility, as the student, to manage your schedule and cancel appointments at least an hour in advance to avoid no-shows.

Determine Your Units Earned

Generate an Unofficial Transcript in your PeopleSoft (MySJSU) account.
Scroll to the bottom of the generated unofficial transcript
Follow the "ALL COLLEGE" row to the "UE" column to identify your units earned
Your units earned will not include the units you are currently in progress of completing.
